Atlas BP8000 2-post car lift installation

After 9-years in our home, I finally made it happen. Wasn't to bad, but the installation directions were horrible, good thing I can think outside the box. Hahaha

My garage has 8 ft ceilings... Id love to have one but until I build another garage or buy a new place, Im stuck. My garages is 30x69 but in no ways do I have much of an option to put a lift in. I could probably do it in the back part but the concrete was already done and its pretty shallow.

I hear you on that, my ceilings are 10'3", I may have to raise the ceiling area above the car roof area once I get the car on there, if I can even do that. I know I'll be able to currently raise the car 4'6" to 5', I'll find out shortly. Better than crawling underneath it while on Jack stands.

Im jealous of both of you!!!

I have contemplated pouring a pad out in front of my garage and putting one outside. Ive seen it multiple times and the people Ive talked to actually like it. Im redneck as hell as it is and I don't live in a fancy neighborhood or anything so I wouldn't have any issues.

I don't think I could put one in the garage due to it being a pole barn. It would be offset to one side or the other and I wouldn't gain much room at all by boxing in the ceiling.

My old house had a 3 car garage and it was a Pole Barn. Just make sure your concrete is the required minimum thickness!
