Yeah, if it is synchronized, then that was a simple hand/foot out of synch. That trans shouldn't have any problems handling that level of power, however, I'd do blocker rings every winter and inspect it closely. Jmho.

Not put 700+ ft lbs of torque thru it. Clutch plays a lot in how long a manual lasts.
My buddy used to carry a dozen clutches in his trailer and swap them out, shim them, etc to keep the trans alive and it still broke trans left and right. I preferred to not lay under my car all day long and just popped a cold one when the trans went. Lol

They make Tamers for the HYD setup.

How is that going to keep from breaking 3rd gear?

It softens the hit when you let off that clutch pedal

I guess I’m buying a clutch tamer before I try and get a blown coyote stick car to work on the track.

It controls clutch engagement. It allows a diaphragm clutch emulate an adjustable unit.

I went a 10.26@141 on my first shake down pass.
Left way too soft, wheel hopped bad in second so lifted then kinda rolled back in 3rd. Second pass broke the blower belt. Belt replaced and going to see what it can do at Edgewater Saturday.
