I tried to take my son but after sitting in bumper to bumper traffic for over an hour and still being a half mile from the gate I bailed and came back home.

Hit the backup at 6:05. Finally inside the gate at 7:15 and parked. Well worth it. Biggest turn out I have seen in years there. GREAT JOB MAXIMUS IN THE TOWER!

I took pics of a tractor actually DRAGGING the track. They put down more prep in one pass than used on an entire TNT night last year or in recent years. Place was really looking up. PS system needds some TLC however. Was hard to hear Craig at times in the stands. Otherwise the place looked 150% better.

It hit the traffic about 6:40 and I got back on 275 a little after 8:00.

Yeah they definitely need to prepare better for a large event and get cars through the gate much faster!
Test n tune is about the same prep wise besides it’s better surface and they have a sprayer that sprays now. I’m sure they will only bring Brandon in to prep for large events, if he’s available. Does edgewater have any plans in purchasing a tractor themselves??
Either way great turn out and good to see the track coming around!!

Drove the coupe there, idled for about and hour on the hottest road on the hottest day. No issues. Big turnout!

A sep entrance for participants would also be nice. No reason they should be checking in through the same line as we bleacher fillers.

Yes I agree! I would have not been happy had I been there to compete and had to sit in that line.
I think they could have 12 or more people getting signatures and money, giving tickets and keep them rolling in. I think only 3 people were taking the money.

Three taking money and six getting sigs if I saw correctly in the main line (two in my line and two in the middle line anyway). The addition of accepting debit cards was slowing things up from what I noticed. They have to retrieve the credit card device each time someone wishes to pay with plastic rather than paper.
