    1978 Mercury Zephyr

Here's your chance to grab the first year for the Fox Body, and No, it wasn't the Mustang! I am listing this for a friend, but I'm the go to guy at this time, more pics to follow.

What we have here is a 1978 Mercury Zephyr rolling chassis, the asking price reflects more of the money already spent on all of the work in this car than the car itself, please be respectful with any offers. 8-point roll cage, sub-frame connectors done by Rob Lewis at Rogue Race Cars along with the rear seat delete set up. Tubular front K-member with factory control arms, Strange 10-way single adjustable shocks/struts, aftermarket uppers and lower control arms in the back, upgraded to an 8.8 w/ 3.73 ring & pinion, Moser axles, rebuilt factory differential, 5-lug conversion all the way around, SN95 brakes up front. Body is in really good condition, no rusted out frame rails and was a factory V8 302 w/ C4 car, not many of them were a factory V8 car, so very limited and rarer. I'm sure that there is more to it and just don't remember at this point, let me know if you or anyone you may know would be interested. This car has not been ran since all of the work, it is a project that needs finished with a clear title.

    $5575.00

I'm just thinking that I did my drivers ed training in a 1980 Ford Fairmont from that era which was the same body style shy a few fancy lines. Never thought I'd see the day that this body style would be something people sought out. But they are getting more and more popular. What's next, the 1980 Cougars? That's the first year the T-bird and Cougar were downsized. Who knows.
