Had an awesome time with everyone at Kentucky Dragway, despite the transmission issues. Mike and I were staged to race for my spot and as soon as I dropped the clutch the rpm flared and the car went nowhere. Both bulbs still lit. Had to push it back to the staging lanes, winch in on the trailer, and all that fun stuff. Got the trans out and apart today thanks to Mike stopping by and helping me out. Confirmed what I was afraid had happened. Half of the teeth wiped off of 1st gear.. Counter shaft gone too. But hey! It was still fun and I enjoy participating to help my friends and see them progress and get faster. Now on to better parts!
