Six cars after getting the dyno up and working, this happened. We were loading the 7th car on the dyno that Saturday, and I was going through turning on the computer and the electronics as I always do, when I clicked on the make run screen, nothing happened. It said no communication. So after about an hour or fiddling with cables, trying this and that, I realized it was the stack that was at issue. It was all green, but no yellow comm lights were flickering. Shit.

4800 bucks later, all gen 2 electronics and WynPep 8 are now in the house. I knew I would need to upgrade SOMEDAY, just not TODAY. But it is what it is, suck it up buttercup, it's only money, it's either that or have a 60k oil change rack. Pretty simple decision after I thought about it. Just really tight on funds but that too shall pass.

Here's a look at the new stuff.

Basically the only thing left is the drum, the brake and the rack. Everything else is new. I will post more pics of the stuff when I get back out there. I was having phone issues, so I got to buy one of those too. I'm done spending money, this shit sucks, unless it's for speed parts!

Looks awesome Mike. That dyno hardware purchase is a kick in the junk but as you said, it had to be done.

You're invited. Just call or text before you come. I work from home so I'm around most of the time.

Just upgraded everything really, because I had every option already, but now they have more options so at some point I will be adding some. Thanks!

Thanks Chad, sucks, but I knew it was inevitable. Just wish it would have been next spring after I had some time to recoup funds. But it's done now, just have to pay it off as soon as I can. We've got a lot of work lined up so as those get finished, that will help a lot.

So with all this being finished, Phase 1 of the shop build is finished. It was the largest and most expensive phase of the project, but it's done and over now.

Guys were giving me crap about the 'phases', but the reason I do that is simple. I learned overseas to set well established and attainable goals, and acknowledge when they were complete. So breaking this up into chunks, or 'Phases' helps me to do that and keep from being overwhelmed by having a clear cut plan on how to proceed.
Phase 2 will encompass putting select walls up with insulation so that work benches can be set up and utilized. Furnaces will be assembled, chimney routed and then fired up. Porting bench, and trans bench will be set up and functioning. Engine room, office, and second floor rooms will be built and engine room will be functional as well as the office. Air lines will be ran all around shop and into engine room, and spools mounted on the walls. We have already started this phase. Phase 3 will be to finish insulating and drywalling the walls and having insulation blown onto the ceiling in the attic area. Water supply line and septic tank install, bathroom and wash sink will be installed, as well. It will also include anything else we deem needs completed to call the shop 'finished'.
    That's it for now.
