    TnT 9/15/22 Thursday - E20

TNT is Thursday night 9/15 next week. Picking up a 17" rear DR setup and thinking about going down to collect some shift point data to send in...weather and motivation willing.

Doubt any interest on a Thursday eve, but the invite is there. Gates open at 5pm

Its been so long since I made a pass I brain farted and committed the cardinal rookie sin today....yip...rolled right through the beams clear up to the tree before it hit me what I had done. Thankfully the person in the other lane followed suit so we looked like a couple of idiots together. But we got it ironed out and I got some data. Car left very soft. Shifted at 5800,6300,and 6800 respectively 2-3-4. Trapped 125.6 @ 11.51 on a pathetic 1.95 60ft. once I learn how to leave on a centri setup then maybe it will be better...as well as getting those Sp's up to 7300 WOT. I did not look to see if the car pulled any timing due to anything such as false knock or anything like that. The HPT logging software is way different than the SCT stuff.

Got to see a couple of smiling faces as well. Great to see old friends.

I've found that with stock converter, going WOT from idle performs best. It allows the converter to flash up. Bringing rpms up on the converter, 60ft will suffer. The 6r likely references some torque table and leaves soft.

knock in ths tune during the pass. dont know where. going to get it in and dyno it to see if we duplicate or if its false knock. until thenkund does nit wish to turn up the shift points.

^^^ Not a lot. May be centri generating false knock and simply need to detune sensors a bit. Will put some Octanium in the tank and make a few test hits somewhere and then compare to the track log as well as the dyno log pull that was getting close at 7300 RPM. Otherwise I may have to knock the boost back a bit to about 9psi from 10.5psi currently which by my estimate would kill about 35 RWHP.
