I am considering purchasing Katzkins for the front seats on my 2006 GT convertible. Just wondered if anybody here has bought them and if you like them. They are pricey, $1795 for just the fronts.

Is that just for the covers or do they now sell seats? If just covers once you pay labor to have them installed I would just buy some quality seats. Nice set of Recaros will be more but money well spent as they hold their value well if you ever wanted to resell them.

I've seen these put on cars and it is painfully obvious that they are not factory though they are made to look OEM. They often look stretched and the leather does not have the grain/texture found in the OEM. It is very possible that you could locate a decent pair of leather seats for about the same price if you took the time and searched. It would be an easier swap as well. Something you could do in your driveway.
