Dougie was tellin me about those covers. Can't wait to see them in person. Lookin Good!!
Been work'in on the coupe again.
Got the intercooler lines made up, Intercooler resv. mounted, coolant tank mount fabbed up and installed.
Came out nice.
The intercooler pump is mounted low on the core support
'92 festiva radiator mounts turned out to be perfect for mounting a modular radiator in a fox.
Just need a '03 cobra heat exchanger and the intercooler system is done. Now to the fuel system.

Hell yeah!! Looks awesome. Let me know if you ever need a hand on anything.
One cam..
I got the longtubes in last night! They fit perfect, so yes 2V longtubes fit in a foxbody. We may have to notch the #7 cylinder tube to clear the steering shaft.

Big Speed is a quaint 20th-century idea . . . . like pay phones or print magazines.

Fabbed up a stainless steel bracket to mount the regulator, not alot of room with this thing in here. I had to mount it on the side of the blower were the old intercooler line brackets attached. I did get to TIG weld the first part on the car (been practicing at work) Kinda proud of it. Polished out the fuel rails too I didnt like them black.

Nice work. I like the location of the regulator. Very functional, easy to get to.

Very cool project Joe. I love the attention to detail. That thing is looks like it came that way from the factory.![]()
Got a few things done in the last couple weeks.
Finally found a set of cam cover gaskets. Who knew these were so rare?!
Bought and installed the Hydra-boost lines. (Not fun at all!)
Bought and installed the throttle cable. Of course not a direct bolt in even though its a 2001 motor and 2003 pedal. Ended up having to space the pedal off the firewall 3/8 inch to get the slack outta the cable. Works fine now, I have full throttle!!!
Ordered an aluminum rear wing from Victory Fabrication up near Dayton, should have that back in a week or so.
I got the Canton aluminum '03 Cobra battery tray mount inter-cooler surge tank ordered for Christmas (Thanks Maggy!) I was think'in about asking Kenny to powder coat it in that black chrome stuff along with the aluminum Canton radiator overflow tank. Might look sweet!
Gotta get to Cincy Spped this week and pick up a T-56 clutch cable, (to make sure I left enough room for it) a new set of plugs, (so I can final mount the fuel rails, regulator, coil packs, wiring harness, and throttle body.
After that I just need a CAI, electric fan, and finish up fuel lines and the engine bay is done! Just pray our tax refund is enough for a good used T-56, SPEC clutch, and a drive shaft.!!!
