Messed around with the car on Saturday.

I mocked up the factory dash, and installed it with minimal bolts so that Cam could remove it to install the cage...

The drivers side door handle was always a PITA to open, so a couple years ago, I ordered the SVE Billet handles.

I had to take em apart so that I could throw some Matte Black at em.

I was being lazy and decided to just tape around the Lock to scuff and squirt it. Which lead to adding some paper, and then the markers came out.

    Anywho, Thanks for tuning in.

    More like a Doodler.

The SVE Door handles didnt turn out too bad. I was able to get the adjustment nut setup and the door opens a lot easier now.

But then I kinda did a thing...

ONE DAY, I will learn to leave shit alone...

Throwing more parts at the build...

I got the Motion Throttle bracket mounted up on the Nick Williams TB and using the Tin Soldier Throttle pedal assembly and cable.

Deastch Werks Fuel rails, Regulator (not pictured) and DW fittings.

VMP IC Intake, DW Rails, Holley Smart coils, ATI dampner.

Car has a date with the Chassis shop mid-April, so hopefully Ill be ready in the Fall.

What cert cage are you going with? Car is so sick with details and the color combos. I wish I was that patient with my stuff.

    Thanks!

Im thinking an 8.5 CM Cage, as I want to keep this thing running in the 530 ET Class.

I got a lil Froggy out in the garage last night and I threw some parts on the car....

I started on the bottom and installed the Motion Engine Diaper, specially made for the Moroso pan.

Since that went on so smoothly, I decided to throw on the Hot parts.

What would Hot parts be without a Turbo?

I finished it all off with the Thermal Zero Blanket and Radiator with a Black Magic fan.

It all looks cool, but the entire Hot side will have to be re-done as we are installing an aftermarket front stub kit...So ill have to take it all back apart.

    Thanks for tuning in.

Well, that will extend the project completion date a bit. What stub kit are you using?

The Team Z Motorsport pre-welded one.

It looks killer and hopefully creates a lot more room.

I hope everyone had a Great Easter! I spent mine out in the garage getting quite a bit done. More like organizing and cleaning, but I was able to get my shifter mounted up!

Im not at all the best or even considered a welder, but I know enough to get some stuff done (especially when you wont see it once its mounted)

And, a little paint does wonders...normally.

Once I get my seat mounted and cage welded in, Ill decide on how I want this orientated, and then install a bolt through the stubs.

Yes, I was sitting there, using the Transbrake, Bump button and "launching" the car! Good thing no one walked in the garage as Im sure I would have had a tough time answering questions about the car noises I was making.

    Thanks for tuning in..

That's awesome! I do the same thing. We were out making a bracket for dzeus fasteners for the front of the hood. I moved the trans cooler from driver's side to passenger side so I can reroute the intercooler piping to clear the fender exit exhaust. Now that I don't have any goofy rules to adhere to, I'm doing what I want. Nowhere near the level of your car, but ratty race car level for me.

Love the color change on the engine. The gold absolutely pops. Sure wish Tristate was still open so we could do shoot outs again.
