    Thanks man.

Every time I set a goal for paint, I end up having to push it back. I am very close though.
Another couple days of fine tuning the big panels and they will be ready.

I keep coming up with new things I want to do to it. Like adding "x" bars the the door bars, changing the window net mounts, and now maybe doing a custom light weight steering column shaft. And of course that means more work to the firewall.

It never ends. I want it to be trick as hell though.

Looking good Matt. Don't spray it till YOU are ready. It is your car and the time will be right when it is. You know it better than anyone. But Damn, get it ready already LOL.

I wanna be there and see the look on your face when it gets its first scratch. I hope you are buying and enclosed trailer to haul this thing around in or at the very least you'll need a big shield on the front of your open trailer. Sorry dude I can't help it. Keep at it, it will look reallly good one day. I just hope that it is sooner than later.

Hood came in today. Its from VFN Fiberglass, 3" pin-on type weighing just 12lbs.

It looks good, but I have to say VFN Fiberglass is lacking on the customer service.
I told them up front this was for an NMRA Real Street car and were trying to have it finished for racing season and I needed it asap! They told me 5 to 6 weeks...no longer. So I marked the calender and waited. I called the fifth and sixth week and they didnt seem to be in much of a hurry till I tryed to cancel my order. 3 days later I have my hood. Hopefully it was worth the wait. ok, heres some pics...

It came in black Gel-Coat and I got it all scuffed down ready for a coat of primer...

The framing under it is made of a super light weight foam. pretty trick.

Wouldn't it be best to drill your holes for the dzus fasteners first before primer?
