This is all about money guys and gals. Do I like his arrogent rantings...no...do I think he truly means 100% of what he says.....no. This is all a business ploy. TJ was and has been the go to guy for the last year and a half. He is the possesion receiver the guy who will catch the ball when you need it most. Chad no longer goes across the middle with confidence, and if you look at TJ he has started to get hesitant also. Punishing blows will make any receiver leary of sprinting across the middle. The Bengals are in a bad situation with the financial hit they would take in a trade. He will play, he will catch the ball, at some point during this year many of you will cheer for him again, yes it sucks but its the way of the game now with player attitudes and big dollar owners. As far as Rudi, I am a big fan but he has lost more than a step in the past two years. He will be replaced before the years out in my opinion. Anybody see him on Cribs? Who was that guy...anyway? Strange to see how he acts outside of football.

I am going to have to completely disagree with you here.... Chad is, and has always been the go to guy. TJ's job is to catch the ball when Chad is being double teamed and can't get open. Although TJ is a good receiver, he still falls short of Chads talent.

Thats what he wants is to be cut. I agree with keeping him and making him fulfill his contract. He is a first class idiot. I never did like him either but I guess when it comes to the Bengals, I'm not a very good judge of character, since my favorite player WAS Chris Henry.

I just wish the Bengals would release a statement or something about what the hell is going on!

Oh and I think Kenny Watson is great and I've always liked Rudi, but I'm hoping Cincy picks up Darren McFadden in the draft, I'd be psyched!!!!!

Oh and McNair is supposed to announce retirement today....
Just imagine when he (CHAD) takes the field here for the first time after running his big pie hole. The cinti fans will BOOOOOO his ass right out of the park.

It doesnt matter if you like it or not, the guy is one of the best WR's in the league, if not the best.

As far as Rudi goes, I say we cut him. He is trying to lose weight to become a quick, around the corner RB, where as his initial role was the bruiser, up the middle. And he couldn't match up to Dillon if Rudi was on his best day and Corey was on hs worst....
He is definately the the #1 reciever on the Bengals. And in person he's not that bad of a guy. I saw him at a club in Newport with a few of the Bengals. He was walking around talking to everyone. It's just a show to keep his name around..

I agree also! I absolutely love those great catches, that he does make, he's my favorite player. But yeah, I guess it is probably about the money. Sadly....

But I really wish he'd say exactly whats going on...

Now hold on... I am a Cowboys fan and T.O. has been behaving because he knows that there isn't anyone going to put up with his crap. He has said in interviews that he loves it in Dallas, but he knows he has to watch his mouth.

Now C.J. just has to learn the hard way! Just like T.O. did. And by the way C.J. is no T.O. You can tackle C.J. with a finger and T.O. is a bitch to get down.

Ya know you're right...keep him on the team and just sit his ass on the side lines until his contract is up. He can hand out towels and gatorade to the players who care about being on the team.

On a side note i saw a guy at Walmart to day with WHO on one forearm and DEY on the other in orange and black tiger striped letters. Now THAT'S a fan

What team are you watching? How many bone head mistakes did Chad make last year? Too many. A go to guy is the one getting the catches (TJ) on third and nine which is the Bengals average the past few seasons. He has not been the alternate receiver or second read he is the first read on those drive stretching plays. Dont get me wrong Chad is one of the top ten in the league but if Im fielding a team TJ gets picked first. Chads output has suffered and his decisions on and off the field have hurt him.

You know what would hurt him the most? Make him play and dont give him the ball. (that will give him something to cry about) More than likely he will be doubled up because of his speed. Alternatly, freeing up T.J and (or) a TE. Much like last season.lol.. He will be contributing whether he likes it or not..:Its a win, win people!

Chad Johnson is dead to me.

I'm tired of it. I'm glad Marvin is standing his ground in one breath but in the other I wish we'd just trade his ass off. I totally 100% love my Bengals but man is it frustrating.

I'm just hoping Rudi/Irons/Perry can between the three manage to be somewhat healthy. Perry is a walking injury report but man can he make a difference when he's in.

I'm hoping Chinny continues to play great, Odell/Ahmad can stay healthy and come back from the lack of recent PT. Hopefully Sedric Ellis falls to us in the draft.

If things fall right, dare I say, our defense might not suck.

Totally agree on that. Also agree TJ is the go to guy on third down. And as someone said earlier the #1 WR, #2 WR is that in name only. Each of those guys is the number one read for Carson on certain downs and yards to go. It's semantics.

T.J. is good because C.J. is great. C.J. is one of the top 3 recievers in the league.

I wouldnt go as far as saying he is better than T.O. or a Randy moss, but he would be the number 3 imo.

By the way, I despise the bengals. I am a cowboys fan all the way. Guess we will se later this year, as the two teams play.

The bengals have one hell of a tough schedule ahead of them.
This year I am going to put missletoe in my back pocket, so I can tell people to hate me to kiss my ass.

Oh lord the Cowgirls....anyways, thats who he's reminding me of right now is T.O. I say they should keep his ass here, he is under contract until 2011 so he has no choice but to play. He's just being such a big baby right now!

Fuck Chad.....he's doing nothing to help his cause.

Don't trade him....he signed a contract and he should have to keep his end of the deal.

If he doesn't show up, charge his ass the $14k/day worth of fines that they're allowed.

If he does show up, treat him like any other receiver and make him earn his spot.

Well from my understanding, their saying Chad is going broke and is wanting to renegotiate his contract for more money. So basically if he doesn't get traded, which I HIGHLY DOUBT HE WILL, he's going to HAVE to play, he can't afford all the penalties he would get for each game he'd sit out. And after seeing Marvin in the press conference yesterday, he's telling Chad, go ahead sit out, the team will go ahead without you. So he's pretty much daring him, lol! I'm finding it quite comical. Did anyone see the interview on ESPN where their asking him pretty much why he wants out? He couldn't give one reason why. So lame.

Chad's agent apparently now is going on Youtube and saying for the Bengals to trade him.

Also Levi Jones is wanting out also!
