Delete plates are just under the intake manifold. Stock ones restrict alot of air flow. Adding slighted ported ones or after market ones generally add around 10 to 15 hp.

I am dropping it off again next Monday so Ken can mees with the tune a little bit. If you dont mind I would like to get together and compare the performance of the whipple to the KB? That is if you ever pick up your car. I would like to see the differences between the two.
ok so i did see your car down there at md, about 100 miles on it so far, have been out of town for a few months . but i am finally back and looking forward to driving it, if i can ever quit adding things to it. As far as getting together and compare the performace of the two cars np. it will most likey be about 2 more weeks before the car is out of the md shop. i'll shoot you a pm when to meet.

If it only has around a 100 miles I would be careful until you break in the bottom end.

I finally got my tune sorted out. Ken said the float in the by pass valve was stuck shut on a bur. That caused it to hesitate everytime I shifted and to sputter and misfire when I shift into 3rd gear. The car is running better now but not completely. Here is my latest dyno, its a little less power than before.

I saw your car there I was wondering why yours was still there. The mods you told me sounded like a simple install. How long does it take to get the rims? and what brand?

Also I think a full roush kit would really look bad ass on your car. Maybe a P51 clone.

forgeline are the wheels , got them last week but the paint job on them was wrong so MD sent them back , the brake install cant be done until the rims come back cause they are brembo 14in rotors in front and 13 in rotors in back , and require 19 in or better rims to put on , and the oil pan they put on and the metco fuel rails still need to be added. i hope it gets done shortly im getting anxious to drive it .

You never specified that in your first post. And if we wanted to prove a point we could just put an alternator on it and call it a street car. Vinny still gets my vote!

Did you even read the first post? I did mention it. Vinny's car is badass but it is in no way a street car.

I had a problem with the tune and didnt want to risk blowing the motor. I had it re-tuned a couple weeks ago its alot better but it isnt perfect. This winter Im putting a built motor in it. I also need stickier tires. I also work 2nd shift so Im working at the same time the tracks are open. When Im home Im working on my 347 Sc fox body. My dad and I just started it up yesterday and should have it at MD in a couple weeks.

Ahh that makes sense. I thought you would have run it at the track by now. If you want to meet up at the track I will let you use my DRs for some passes.
