    copied from UMTR's message board.....

I just verified with Edgewater that Racers can camp on the Edgewater premises overnight Friday night and Saturday night, if you want to stay for Edgewater's Muscle Car Sunday. You cannot camp overnight Sunday night and leave on Monday.

You guys may actually have a chance since we are NOT running the Pro-Tree...

Now, there is a chance I'll fall into a groove on this sportsman tree...

and that could prove to be very, very bad news.... ....

Well, ricky ticky, you better bring more than a .293 reaction time with ya...

If memory serves me well, I tore the tree down off the line and drug it with me to the other end... then I had to lift and wait on that 331 stroker to catch me....

    112mph to my 109, liftin'...

I really need to quit drinkin'... My posts may start to seem serious....
yep, the same bean bag a cat once sniffed ...

the .293 was the first pro tree i have ever seen ~ yes i was sleeping

    i havent ran 112 since 1994

    I'll stand (or sit) corrected.

There wasn't anything about camping, on E2O's website.

A bunch of us were planning on camping out. I don't think we are going to now though. Too much stuff going on this weekend.

What the admission for someone watching? I'm still deciding if I should run or not. I may wait till Tri-State on the Oct 25 to run slicks for the first time.

According to UMTR, in an agreement with E2o, tomorrow's admission will be $15 for spectators with the additional $3 going to Children's Hospital for Crohn's (sp) Research, all in the name of UMTR.

    Working late!!!!

Went testing tonight, destroyed the rear end first pass. Ripped the axle tube out of the center section.

Craig and I are pulling an all nighter trying to get it fixed for tomorrow.
Sometimes its nice having a spare race car on jack stands.

    Hopefully see you all tomorrow!!!

It's a pretty good deal then if you decide to run just for time trials and better if you compete.

That sucks that happen Matt. Your luck must have rubbed off on me because not even 15 minutes after we loaded your car up I made my first pass and ripped 2nd gear and my shifter handle damn near went into the backseat. Somehow I managed to snap my short throw shifter arm in two. I hope to see you tomorrow.

    oh shit! that sucks!

Sorry I couldnt stick around to help you out...I was on a mission.

I called Craig as I left the track, he went home and unbolted the 8.8 out of my orange car as I unbolted the broken out out of the grey car at work. We were lifting the new one into place around 10pm.
I got a few more things to button up in the morning, hopefully I'll make it.

I'll be on drag radials if I do. The driver side slick was destroyed when it met up with the quarter panel. I tore a lot of shit up in one launch.
