How high of temperature can the powdercoating hold up to?
That is nice looking work.

looks mean... you do a good job
Most powders cure in the 375-400 range. They should be fine below that and even a bit hotter for shorter durations. I believe sustained high temps can discolor it. I'm hoping to have a new gun soon so I can use my old one for high temp powders. They will withstand temps in the 1200deg range. How hot does the hot side of a turbo get? Yeah Jesse you could do that, just have a damp cloth handy as you do it to wipe off the excess. I've heard of guys using model paint to do some detail work like you want.

How big of a part can you bake? Are you just using a regular kitchen oven to bake these?

Hey pm me a price to do upper and lower control arms gloss black. Thanks
Bill I am currently using a normal kitchen oven but I've built an extension for it that will allow me to do parts approx 40" long. If things go well I've already got my eye on an oven that will allow me to do parts at least 5' long. How big of a part can you bake? Are you just using a regular kitchen oven to bake these?
