That's funny... When I seen that he was backin' up, I knew what was gonna happen... Don't ever under-estimate the power of a GM w/ an auto transmission... ....

I just talked to GM "know-it-all" the other day... He insisted that his 98' Camaro ran 12.8 bone stock, auto, then went on to tell me that if he had slicks, it would've ran 11.8...

When I asked where the car was, his answer was, "I wrecked it after I done did a doughnut after installing a programmer and slammed into a telephone poll..."
    90' lx coupe.... stock cam'd explorer combo.. 11.80 @ 113

99' Cobra.... work in progress..... cold air... and a free catback... 12.93 @ 107.3mph on Sumitomo tires- (1.89 60')...

I hate to admit this but I did that once with my Charger back in the day. I just laughed it off but was embarrassed as hell.

I think Even Smith from MM&FF drove a stock LS1 Camaro with a manual transmission to a 12.80 but I think he is a freak of nature when it comes to driving ability.

I can see how someone would make that mistake at the track, especially on their first pass ever. I know it sure seemed like there was a lot going on when I pulled up to the line the first time. That still doesn't change the fact that its funny.
