Competing in those races don't mean anything either. Anybody at anytime can go into those types of races and race. It's not like you gotta be special or invited to them, lol.
i never said i was special, i was talking about commitment to racing, your the "hardcore" racer, so i figured since i'm a measly dyno racer your experience on the track would overshadow me by leaps and bounds
I feel very special though that you took enough time out of your busy racing schedule to make that big post and dig up all those links and stuff. If it makes you feel better I did read about half of it before I had to stop cause I was laughing so hard cause you really think you accomplished something.
i do feel like i accomplished something, i made a commitment to do an entire racing season , stuck to it, and not only made the events, but won 3 of them, how many have you won?
Hell maybe by the time i'm 49 years old like you i'll have raced in some events like that too, lol. I just think it's funny that you always have these big fancy cars that make all this power on the dyno but yet they never put down an ET that they're capable of.
who says there times aren't good, at the 01 mod shootout, my 99 cobra was the heaviest car in the class, it was the only car that was a street car, they all were full out race cars besides mine, it pulled the highest mph and was only .17 off the fastest "race" car. that was because it was a street car with a street stall, the 01 lightning ran 10.7's at 5200 lbs, the 08 ran 11.17 @ 4200 lbs with a tune, cai, pulley, and slicks. All of those are very respectable times.
There's only room on this board for one fast LSX vehicle....and I have it!!! Maybe once I get tired of it...i'll sell it to you or something. We'll just have to wait and see though cause i'm not so sure you can handle it.
