No I didnt miss a gear. The tires was spinning so bad it was just hitting the rev limiter. We had another run that beefcake didnt post (go figure). It was short and sweet but I actually pulled on him over a car length after giving him the hit. We started around 60 -70 mph and it ended around 100. That was the only time my car hooked. Anything under 60 mph was pointless. The car just wouldnt hook. I didnt want to risk a 80-100mph spin out trying to catch up. It just wasnt worth it to me.Originally Posted by holeshot

not true,
after getting whipped 3 times, he kept begging for more, right before the exit the cars were goosed from like 70 to 100, and just like he said in his other post, it would hardly be considered a race
as far as no traction, on the 3rd run, his car appeared to hook fine i watched the original vid, and you can clearly hear the car run through 1 gear, shift, run through another gear and then either miss a gear or bounce off the limiter

Your full of shit! For one I started in second from the roll and two you can hear the car hitting the rev limiter almost instantly in second and when i shift into 3rd. Thats why I backed out. As far as goosing it, again you chose to let off when I was ahead of you after I gave you the hit. Its amazing each time I get a head of you, you let off the gas. That is twice now! I admitting you beating me the other races why cant you admit I pulled on you when I actually had traction?

Does anyone have some sticky tires that don't turn to stone when it gets below 50 degrees?Can USMC borrow them to settle this?
btw...I don't personally know either one of you two, so I could care less about taking sides, but when I watched the original video, you were pulling on Beef, you grabbed another gear and were still pulling, then the next shift you missed. There is NO way the car blew the tires off instantly as the shift was made into 3rd, or it would have had to been 4th by what you are stating in your last post about starting in 2nd gear.
Don't get all bent out of shape, it's just an unbiased observation.
