I have the stage 3 in my coupe. I think it has a great pedal feel, it isn't too stiff.
Kenny (fordfan) has a Ram clutch in his GT...pedal effort doesn't seem very bad to me but i have a King Cobra which is like the bitch of all clutches so i may just be used to a heavy clutch and his just might feel lighter to me, but it seems really nice and grabs good.

I also changed out my cable when i took my race one out so it could have also been a bad cable. I havent had one but i have heard alot of people on here who like the centerforce brand.
