lol, i'm just busting balls over trailers and slicks. (and the middletown comment). I hadn't met him before tonight, and he seemed like a great guy, and the car was doing great, especially for how shitty the track was!

He even gave me the tree in the finals! (i'm assuming with the .94 light lol

I was wondering why I didnt see it. I liked that car last year when I saw it.

Either way we had fun today. The Dart didnt do nearly as good as we thought it would. Seems the old convertor worked great with the old motor and not so great with the 418. We was hoping for some mid 10's on motor but that wasnt happening!!! Still ok for 7th I think and made it to the second round where Beefcake put it out.

All and all was a great time and cant wait till the fall cruise so maybe my coupe will be done!! Thanks guys!

The dart was nice looking. Some real nice clean cars. Mikes car will be a beast when he gets some 15's and some good tires. (mike had the shelby)

I understand Terry. But I don't think there was one street car there, I mean once it modified to remove emissions doesn't that make it off road use only at that point. Your car was running good what does it run with the ac on? I managed a 11.30 last year with mine on ofcourse I didn't realize it was on until I finished the run lol.

    1) Terry's car runs cats I believe
    2) most a/c's (Ford's I know) have a WOT switch that cuts them off at WOT

So with that being said Terry's car IS a STREET car!

    So lol
Who goes into a race saying "I didn't expect to win" that's just dumb! I'm not trying to be a dick but it pisses me off when here we're trying to congratulate Tim on his win and outta know where you come on here making yourself look stupid!
Since you won your own little goal you set for yourself, maybe we need to get you a plaque, just like in little league...every kid gets a trophy!

Yeah I talked to Mike at Kmart for a few minutes. The drag radials sure dont cut it at all!!! Plus the track didnt seem to be real good at first but got a little better as the day progressed but still far from good!

There is nothing in the rules that that says the car can't be trailered home. So quit your fucking whinning and grow up. If you don't like getting beat then either make your car faster or sell it like you do every other car.

Lol I was only trying to say is most of these cars are heavily modified from there original state. I think for the street car shoot out all that really matters is that you drive from kmart to Tri state nothing else matters so the hole street car argument is a mute point. Or am I mistaken.

If terry has built a low ten second street car with out removing any factory emissions components I am really impressed go Terry!!!

Even if he has I really could give a shit either way it's fast he pulled runner up witch is way better than I can do and better luck next time.

Damn why does it turn into an arguement every time Craig puts this on??? All the cars are equally impressive in their own way. Terry's car is quick and is a very nice car. He didnt win and the Capri kicked ass... Its was all in fun and we should atleast enjoy getting out and bullshitting with each other.

Mine, when done will be on a trailer also. Would it make the cruise down??? Maybe, but do I want to chance tearing it up on a 55 mile drive? It will be on drag radials and have exhaust but street legal??? I doubt it! But I dont give a shit if Im faster than anyone as long as Im out having fun and actually racing one!

Thanks for the comments guys. The best 60 I could muster was a 1.97 and the track was complete shit. These 18 inch drag radials can't handle this power at all. My car was pulling tons of timing on every run. I couldn't get it cooled down.

11.65 @ 123 was all I could get in the hot weather. I'm normally running in the 130's. Every single pass I was blowing the tires off as far as u could burn em off. I had a great time and got to meet a lot of people.

I won the first round and "ALMOST" won against the capri lol. Why didn't u red light man?!?! Good show and thanks to Craig for having us.
