    can plastic be powdercoated?

was thinking of getting the valve covers done while we're doing the valve springs

this is what they look like

was thinking one color for the black part, and maybe a different color for the powered by ford

What Kenny said. You're going to have to degrease the crap out of it, then hit it with some Krylon for plastics.

I used some on my 2.3L engine cover a few years back. It looks like crap now since I drive it more than wash it, but it looked good. I hit it with primer, 3-4 coats of color, then two coats of clear.

CarDomain appears to be down or I would link to an image.

Back from vaca and back to work. Some weld wheels in black chrome 2. Everyone always ask about this color but it can only be done over very polished aluminum or chrome. Also an intake in silver stardust/mirror clear.

Can you powder coat over chrome rims that are starting to Peel and bubble? They are just my winter wheels thought the black chrome would look good on the black car. Thought. It might seal them...

I could but they will continue to bubble and peel. Once that stuff starts there is no stopping it.

Couple from today. I turbo housing in carbide black. A 55 chevy grill in tuscan matte black. I did almost every trim part on the car but was too lazy to lay it all out for a pic. Then we have a couple radiators from some dragsters. First is chrome/mirror clear and then dormant red/mirror clear.

Had a pretty busy week, here are some of the highlights. Candy purple/stardust silver valve covers. Some 3 pc wheels w/ mirror black lips and tuscan matte black centers.

Friday update. First we have some ford 3v covers in the ford wrinkle blue, then we have some silver stardust/clear on a turbo setup for a gto. We then have a Subi turbo housing in satin black ceramic and intake in wrinkle red. Next is a vic jr intake/elbow and v/c's for a 5.0 stang in mirror silver sparkle/clear and mirror red. Last but not least some parts for a 70 Cuda, v/c's in wrinkle black, misc parts/fan in satin black and the intake is new and just has a clear over the bare aluminum.

Couple different colors. First is shocker yellow over silver vein. I did it on a tube frame my brother built from scratch for one of his r/c trucks. He does damn amazing work. Next is a color called black chrome 2 but apparently it has been changed as it more of a trans black than the bluish/gray tint it use to be
