I was down there just before christmas. The bar and the tatoo place are long gone now.

man, let me get my 7 year old registered, she's pretty good with math, maybe i can have her school ya some
it's generally accepted that manuals lose about 15% and that auto's lose about 20% through their drivetrains
so, as can be displayed in the etch a sketch graphic above, you take your rwhp # (line 1) division symbol (line 2) acceptable drivetrain loss - mine is an auto (line 3) equals symbol (line 4) "estimated" (estimated) crank hp (line 5)
by the way since you appear to be match challenged, .8 dividing is the same as .2 multiplying 80% plus 20% = 100%
hope that helps a pro like yourself, being the seasoned racer and self proclaimed peoples champion of the streets that you are i'm sure you don't have time for complicated things like basic math
Soooo.....Pretty much you thought you would be cooler putting up your flywheel numbers because the real 600rwhp wasn't good enough, lol I got ya! Man I'm glad you explained all that to me that way whenever mine get's strapped to the dyno I can convert it over that way it seems like alot more than it actually is...Sounds like that's what all the cool kids do!:lol:
never said it was cooler, it's just what i felt like doing
so, guestimating your crank hp makes it seem like a lot more than it is?
if your car is a manual 15% is generally the accepted loss, and auto's are about 20%,
it's not like i said i have probably 40 or 50% drivetrain loss
it's not like i'm using a magic grits formula
you and this guy must be friends http://www.americanrhetoric.com/imag...sinVinny3b.JPG
don't make me get vinny out here to put you in check
Hey Beefy, remeber the time we were all at Tristate and you over herd my cousin Brandon making fun of your Cobra because It had a supercharger for a power adder but the front windshield said NOS. So you walked over and scraped the NOS sticker off of the middle of your NMRA windshield banner..LMAO.....That still makes my laugh everytime I think of it..hahhahahahhahha:bigthumb
Listen man, I'm not here really here to argue about HP or TQ or anything like that. I could careless really. I'm just here to tell you, I mean, warn you....That i'm going to bust your ass!! Just because i'm a nice guy though, i'm going to give you one more chance to back out of racing me or it's just going to be bad for you all year. If you tell me now, that you can't beat me and you agree to buy me a couple tri-state hotdogs and a gatorade I will quit harassing you and won't embarass you infront of all your buddies. This is your last out though...Take it or leave it?? :cool1:
Harrassing me. U must not have a clue who your sealing with LOL
As far as loosing. I got nothing to loose. I'll have a 10 sec car I drive everywhere vs your whatever it is car. If I loose big deal your the one talking shit. Your the one that needs to me worried. And u definately would want less on the street. Well to a nice little mile race and see how u hold up when I'm running around 200 mph
Man I guess your trying to change the race now. I called you out for the drag strip, not some 1 mile race off of Forza motorsports!! Besides, I can't do 200mph anyways. My th350 along with my 3.23 gear will only allow me to go around 160mph on my 28in tires. I can't believe you don't think i'll be able to drive my car just as much as you can yours. I'm keeping a/c, powersteering, heat, full interior and everything. I plan on driving mine everyday..pump gas and all. So with that being said, do you want to see some tailights from the time I come off the tranny break till the time we cross the stripe...or do you want to go ahead and admit defeat now?? It's your choice...better think about it before you jump to an answer....:cool2:
[QUOTE=yougotjunk;447744]o tell you, I mean, warn you....That i'm going to bust your ass!!

Your the one that needs to me worried. And u definately would want less on the street.
The street now its getting good :bigthumb 27 is open .
i'll be happy to race your transbraked race car with my street car,
i'm not trying to change anything, i believe your the one that said how you street race all the time,
guess without your slicks and transbrake your already running scared,
so, what i propose since your car is a street car as you claim and you bust ass on the street all the time is we go true street style
we'll meet at beechmont ford, we'll drive to tristate, pull up to the beams, make 3 back to back passes, and then we'll have a race on the street on the way back,
sound good
My car is going to be a street car forsure. There were many many cars produced that came from the factory with th350's and that didn't make them all out drag cars. Just because I want a solid drivetrain doesn't mean it's a drag car. Anyways, those plans sound way better than what I wanted. I just didn't think you would street race, lol. Instead of meeting somewhere and going to tri-state, we'll just have a street race shootout around here or there, don't matter to me. Who said anything about slicks? Or that i'll be without them? So is the next thing your going to try to do is race me from a roll?? I hope your not going to go that low....Even though all this is for fun and braggin rights, i'm still going to bust your ass!!
you said you wanted to go to the track, so i'm just trying to play on your terms,
seems perfect since your car is definately a street car as you said,
figure a nice little 30 mile trek to tristate will be perfect to put our street cars to the test, then you get your dragstrip race you asked for and then we can have some street races
i don't race from rolls by the way, i actually prefer stops as my lil 2.56 gear does a good job when street racing
my lil 436 rwhp laid out a 485 rwhp stang by 12 lengths earlier this year from a stop
I'll race wherever...street or strip makes no difference to me. Hell we can throw paddle tires on them and race in the mud if ya want. I can't believe you don't think my car is street friendly. I plan on driving it everywhere, pretty much everyday. I just ordered a few suspension goodies from BMR so I shouldn't have no problem leaving on you, then just driving away from you. I'm just hoping after I beat you, you don't go into some crazy mid-life crisis and quit racing all together. I'm not out to put an end to something you enjoy, i'm just out to snap you off, nothing more.
