Hey Kenny I asked ya about doing my shaker system.... said I thought it was plastic but we got it yesterday and it is actually made of cast iron I think so it can be powdercoated. Bought it off john (05yellowgt) and he said you coated it for him for $75 I think, not too long ago.
Are you interested? We would like to get it done within the next few weeks and can bring it to you or meet you somewhere.
Thanks :)
I did Johns valve covers recently but not the shaker. I would definately be interested in doing it if it is metal. If you want to bring it over I could take a look at it and see what we would be getting into. My schedule is very flexible so let me know if there is a time that works for you.
Great work! I've been thinking my Mach covers coated. If I decide I'll shoot you a PM. I like the black/textured coating, but I also like the bare OEM covers . . . .
Hey Ken here is a couple pics of your valve covers. Lighting is not the greatest in my garage so its hard to get good pics but hope you get the idea. I'll get them shipped sometime tomorrow.

Here is a couple more of the valve covers. They definately look to be a brighter red in the sunlight. Also here are a couple colors we were thinking of using on timido's rootbeer capri. The last is good ol Chevy orange.

Kenny, those look awesome. If I ever get down that way, I'll probably have you do my upper intake in the same color. THey are going to look great on my grey block. I tried to make the engine match the car's colors (grey on bottom, red up top).
Thanks a lot.
Ken
hey Kenny,
Would you be able to powdercoat my Roush Exhaust tips? I wanna say they are cast Aluminum. Looking to have them returned to this state:

Thanks

Hey Nick I can do those. It kinda hard to tell from the pic but do you just want the outer part chrome and the rest black or would you want all of it chrome?
The outer part would be Chrome-ish (it is more of a brushed aluminum finish) and the rest would be a satin black...
And those Rims like this? :D

I can do the tips just let me know whenever you are ready and as for the wheels I have that exact color powder here and ready for you if you get those wheels.:bigthumb
They would not need to be stripped as the chrome is brand new and in perfect condition.
Kenny, got the vc's today--they look awesome. I'm definitely going to have to head down that way at some point to get my explorer intake matched (upper, at least).
Great work.
Glad you got them ok and are happy. Whenever you get them on get some pics up. I wasn't sure how much I would like that color but once I got it on the covers it really looked sweet. Thanks again for the business.Quote:

Sorry dude I was up till 1:30 last night finishing up the upper and lower and have been crazy busy this morning. What do you think? So far the cover has not melted into a big blob but I'm gonna keep trying:eek: BTW I did not do the lettering in silver as well because the casting was fairly rough and the letters would have looked all jagged.

No problem man, I'm just messing with ya!
Looks awesome! No problem about the letters.
Here is another one from today, more lava black for mustangjon and I also did a set of quad wheels in black but I think I've posted enough pics of black quad wheels.

looks good thanks, now i gotta pull the damn discharge tube loose again lol, do you realize how much of a pain in the ass it is to get that thing loose? :bigthumb
Stuff looking good. Hopefully soon I can post up a picture of my VC's on my motor. *crosses fingers*
Dayumn!
Seeing that throttle body done like that makes me wanna do the one that is to go on that intake you did for me! Along with the Bolts that I forgot
I'll have a list of things for you to do here soon I hope.
Wow that TB does look awesome! Starting to think I should have scrounged up the extra cash to have you do mine too!
Kenny....any progress on those VC's? I'm like a kid at Xmas waiting to see if they're gonna take or not. :D
I've baked them each for like 5 hours now I just need to try to sand out a couple imperfections heat them up and shoot them. I'm hoping to have time tonite to get them done.
doc thoseare gonna look good on there!
Here are some things I did tonight. My first try at clearing over stickers. They turned out really really nice only thing is the sticker was silver and red but turned goldish while baking. I still think they look damn good. Hope the guys at Dayton Perf like.

very cool, those look awesome.:cool1::cool1:
funny they turned but.. actually turned for the better IMO
How big of an item can you do? Im fixing to disassemble my Banshee and would love to get several of the parts done...please let me know how big you can do. Thanks.
I can currently do pieces up to 40" long but that is really pushing it. What kind of parts do you need done?
I was wanting to get the frame, a-arms and a few other small pieces done. But I just went out and looked and the frame won't break down that far!:( I still want to get you to do some parts on my '91 GT...hopefully the motor will be out next week! Thanks.
Damn nice work Kenny!
Out of curiosity can you you do multiple colors on a single piece? Like doing the dayton performance in power.
It would be very difficult to impossible to get such precise lettering with powder. I need to get with Dave to get me some vinyl samples so I can see how different colors and grades of vinyl will react to the clear and to the temps.Quote:
