Hey Kenny I asked ya about doing my shaker system.... said I thought it was plastic but we got it yesterday and it is actually made of cast iron I think so it can be powdercoated. Bought it off john (05yellowgt) and he said you coated it for him for $75 I think, not too long ago.

Are you interested? We would like to get it done within the next few weeks and can bring it to you or meet you somewhere.

    Thanks

I did Johns valve covers recently but not the shaker. I would definately be interested in doing it if it is metal. If you want to bring it over I could take a look at it and see what we would be getting into. My schedule is very flexible so let me know if there is a time that works for you.

Great work! I've been thinking my Mach covers coated. If I decide I'll shoot you a PM. I like the black/textured coating, but I also like the bare OEM covers . . . .

Hey Ken here is a couple pics of your valve covers. Lighting is not the greatest in my garage so its hard to get good pics but hope you get the idea. I'll get them shipped sometime tomorrow.

Here is a couple more of the valve covers. They definately look to be a brighter red in the sunlight. Also here are a couple colors we were thinking of using on timido's rootbeer capri. The last is good ol Chevy orange.

copper metallic w/ sd crystal clear

    Jollipop copper over ultimate chrome

    jollipop copper over bare aluminum

Ral-2002 also known as Chevy orange

Kenny, those look awesome. If I ever get down that way, I'll probably have you do my upper intake in the same color. THey are going to look great on my grey block. I tried to make the engine match the car's colors (grey on bottom, red up top).

    Thanks a lot.

Hey Nick I can do those. It kinda hard to tell from the pic but do you just want the outer part chrome and the rest black or would you want all of it chrome?

The outer part would be Chrome-ish (it is more of a brushed aluminum finish) and the rest would be a satin black...

    And those Rims like this?

Wheels will be ordered Monday of next week. If I decided to do them black, how much work is involved in stripping the chrome off them?

They would not need to be stripped as the chrome is brand new and in perfect condition.

Kenny, got the vc's today--they look awesome. I'm definitely going to have to head down that way at some point to get my explorer intake matched (upper, at least).

    Great work.

Glad you got them ok and are happy. Whenever you get them on get some pics up. I wasn't sure how much I would like that color but once I got it on the covers it really looked sweet. Thanks again for the business.

Sorry dude I was up till 1:30 last night finishing up the upper and lower and have been crazy busy this morning. What do you think? So far the cover has not melted into a big blob but I'm gonna keep trying BTW I did not do the lettering in silver as well because the casting was fairly rough and the letters would have looked all jagged.
