I think all the DD cars should have A/C, PS, PW, loaded and at least 3500lbs

Basically, since you cant compete, you want to change the rules to disqualify those who can. People want to see the best, this is why womens sports will never bee as popular as mens sports. Men compete at a higher level, they are the fastest, strongest and most competitive. So if there was a list that everyone knew didnt have the truly fastest of the sport,no one would care, because it's not real.

Wow, I knew that idea would piss off someone.
As for me? No the idea isnt for ME. I dont WANT a rule disqualifying last years top 12, it was a suggestion. "I" did compete last year, "I"did have a blast doing it. And next year "I" will decide if I even post my times for it.
    Fun remember?

I think you should make it the dirty "bakers dozen", that way whoever is sitting in the unlucky # 13 spot can still feel like he did something. Otherwise, what would he have to live for? lol

LOOK BITCHES!!!! How about you just do away with the list...and have ONE BIG TRACK DAY (set way in advance so everyone can plan for it..and a backup date so if the weather doesn't cooperate) and invite all the stangbangerz and we all show up...The people that wanna participate throw in 20, 50, 100 or whatever everyone can agree on...we all run...and the top 12 cars split the money...It would be good for the people that wanna race and it would be a good show for all the people that just like watching..or broke there shit...or the people that dont feel there worthy! Everybody that wants to participate sees everyone elses runs so there wont be no bitching about someones elses times..we will actually see people run their shit WIDE THE FUCK OPEN and not just save it all for the last track day to make it on the list and only a select few see your runs. draw pills to see who runs it what order....then....the top 12 cars get there stickers and stuff like the last year and so on! For the people that done like my idea

And if ya plan on participating and being part of all this...we better see ya cracka asses and some of the cruise inns and get togethers and posting on the board!! ok..i'm done!

I don't see anything wrong with the original concept of the dirty dozen. Participation seems to be the only real problem, and it was dealt with accordingly. It would be nice if we could have a few "shootouts" throughout the year, i'm sure everybody could make at least one.

I also agree, the original was fine and simple but more shoot outs would be a great reason to get together as a group. I think the cruise was a great idea to get to the track, I only ask to trailor to the meeting site because its like 40 miles from here and I would hate to pay a tow bill home from tristate. I think you should stick to some kind of cruise next year Vinny, at least for the final shootout if you have more than one. Now I must get my ass going on my new project

    good stuff. I'm liking it.
So what you're saying is we could choose a date once a month to have most of the dozen (or 13 or 24) show up and make some passes in between hanging out then the last month would be where everybody, every site member, on the list (or not) could show up at a predetermined location that suits most members then rally to the track and commence to some asphalt anhilation for the grand-diggity-daddy year end blowout where we could head somewhere afterwards to discuss the outcome and enjoy some fine food and beverage? I think you're onto something fella.

I highly doubt I would make the dd list..You never know redballs racing may have something brewing..Anyways people should be able to use a trailer...Tow bills are higher than shit...Hell you can always take a litle cruise around Ross.. With all the hills, twists, and turns you will find out who is streetable and who is not....Where will the shootouts take place?

How about a spring, summer, and fall Dirty Dozen Shootout. Each one could be held at a different track. Such as...

    Spring - Edgewater
    Summer - Kil-Kare
    Fall - Tri-State

That way, everyone would be close to their "home" track for at least one event.

Also, to qualify for the DD, you have to make runs at TWO events and then your best run of the season is your DD time.

    Simple, effective, and fair!

That's what I was thinking..Spread it out to different tracks...I live about 5-10 minutes from tristate and 15 or so from Edge..Kil-kare will take a bit longer..From what I was told that place hooks hard so I wouldn't mind going up there...
