If anyone knows anything about pickle park...it would be YOU!!! Everytime you come to middletown your begging to go to 73...we first thought it was to race...then later we found out that you just wanted to make a little extra money while you were here!!!
I'm not cocky, I'm just faster than you!

I think the times need to be at a local track, not FL or anyplace else.

I may be over complicating this, but it would be cool to make this into a race. The Dozen qualifies you for the race. You are then seeded based on the dozen. Then it's heads up for the win. No more whining.

Also, you can expect things to shake out at the end of this season to level the street-car vs race-car issue. We're going to pick a test and tune day at the end of the season, have all potential dozen members meet at a set location and DRIVE to the track and make passes. This will weed out the 5 gallon fuel cell race cars, prove their street credibility as well as keep the list local. If you can't make a test and tune session around here then you aren't local. We may recquire that all dozen list members attend the fall cruise-in as well to once again prove their street creds as well as their involvement with this site. We don't need one-post-wonders claiming to be a SBZ member, making the cut and leaving somebody off the list with more of a street car and more time on this site.

So with that, I'll start the first round.
"His car isn't really a street car" is something I hear a lot. Problem is, everybody's opinion on what a true street car is will be different. As the rules sit right now, a street car is defined as having license, tags and insurance. I made it this way only to parallel the NMRA Wild Street definition. This is probably the toughest one to call so making these cars come out on the street to stay on the list will make things more fair in my opinion. This can be accomplished by requiring the cars to drive to the track at least once and/or showing up at our big cruise-ins.

Remember kids, this is for fun, bragging rights and a decal....nothing more. No big money prizes, no sponsorship deals, no trophies....just some good ole boys bringing out their cars and putting a beating on 1320 feet of tarmac!

    Thanks for reading

Jason, you do make a good point, but what if someone on the list runs slower at the shootout then what they had previously posted. Are they going to use that time instead?
i believe your fastest time for the year will be your time as long as you haven't broke

    That says it best!

I think the biggest issue was weeding out trailer queens and people that really don't participate here

As I said, I have to work, for the chance to possibly be in with the time i've already run, i'd be happy to show up somewhere and make the drive. I'd probably just run on my street tires, and then go, I just ran my time 1 1/2 weeks ago and have it on video at a local track, but i'd be happy to prove my street worthiness

after all, like vinny said, it's for fun

Just wondering if a car has no int, cage , fuel cell, and is trailered to and from the track what makes that diff from a race car? I know this is for fun and not trying to make a big deal about it. I had a great time this year just trying to get on the list Might be kinda neat to have a Dirty dozen RACE class and a Dirty Dozen STREET class next year? It would include more people on the site. Lets face it low 9s is getting pretty dam crazy

can't speak for anybody else but I don't think any of the cars on the list would have a problem making a drive! I drove my car to and from the track sat. and I know others that do the same!

this list is done to show everybody that stangbangerz have some very fast street cars ! thats it ats just for braging right and to have stangbangerz helping stangbangez go fast the way it is now if some went faster then me cool ! i might not be number 1 but maybe 3 nobody won or lost just fast cars and good times . now we want to make a heads up race out of it thats a differant story now we have winners and losers and it not for fun any more it for a win . peoples car will get way faster and help each other would stop . even wild street dont ladder them off becuse its for fun . the one time a year thy do is wfc . and then you see the 7.45 at 195 like we did in st lois and 38 cars left for the cruz with parachutes .
