some progress.....

'93 Cobra rear bumper...

After prepping and priming, a ton of pin holes popped up. I glazed over them, sanded it back down and ready for more primer...

fine tuning the ground effects pieces...

Perks of the job.

I just decided to bring a few of my small pieces into work to mess with. Its kinda nice to Clock out at 5pm and start working on your own stuff.
Usually once I sit in traffic for a while I dont feel like working on my stuff
and just head home and be lazy.

We do have a paint booth at the shop and I plan on spraying the color and clear on a weekend though.

I read over your build again man you are just about ready to shoot the damn thing. I picked up a DA and some hammers and sanders today. Santa will be welder shopping soon too. I hope to start tearing up the floors and rocker boxs in the "Vomet" by spring. Your car is going to be killer!

Yea like taking a simple project too far and sanding one spot down 200 times over because it isnt juuuust right?

learn to say "primer will cover that" or "it'll buff out"

My doors are finally starting to look like Mustang doors!

I had some helpers today!

Steve Hensley is our Paint and Body guy down at work, Ive been helping him out on his custom paint job on his boat and he is helping me out with my car. Here he is laying some primer down on a door.

We also decided to go ahead and get some color on the ground effects and rear bumper since they were sitting there ready to go.

everything cleaned off and set up in the booth...

Then everything got 2 coats of House of Kolor white sealer...

then everything got 3 coats of Tangelo and 3 heavy coats of Clear....

I bet you really want to see it dont you??????
