2008 Dirty Dozen Discussion Thread

If you get rid of about 90% of these rules you'd probably have about the same decrease in bitching or whatever you want to call it. Bunch of nancy bullshit if you ask me. I understand the wanting a person to be a "participating" member, even if I don't agree with the definition, and I can see you wanting the car to be registered, insured,and such, but, the rest after all that is just fluff. Quit with all the "break" rules crap, worrying about one hit wonders, etc. Fewer "rules" = less shit to bitch about. IMO

This is way out of hand. Vinny started this idea and as long as SBZ is around, it should stay on SBZ. Everyone on the DD is very passionate about their status because we ALL know that SBZ is very respected throughout the area. When someone tells another that "that guy is number 3,4,1 on the Dirty Dozen" ALOT Of people know what the Dozen is. Its a sign of your hard work, long hours busting your ass and many missed dinners with the family that makes being on the list so fucking elite, special, honorable, etc etc.

Craig, argue all you want but it will not change anything, this year. The dozen is done till next spring.

So lets start a new thread and decide on how to make the DD better, not keep tearing it down. You can keep on "making your point" or step up and help the moderators make better decisions with running of the Dozen.

Thats exactly what i thought. It has to be REPAIRED to back up the numbers you ran! Its not to broke to drive but it is still fucked and it won't back up the numbers you ran so it is BROKE.

With all the bickering it must mean people hold those 12 stickers in very high regard....and they should.
All the he said , we heard, yadda yadda will always be there when you have as many members as you do here. I have a question, would the people bitching about the DD put the stickers on their cars if they were on the list? Its as much about being proud to be a part of SBZ as anything else in my opinion.

Well here is a little video to prove ya wrong.... We dialed the car down to keep the front end on the ground and it still pulled just as hard in the 1/8, if not harder.... to bad I didn't hit second gear for ya..... so do some research before you make a ILL INFORMED STATEMENT....

In not saying your car won't run the same time. I'm just saying it isn't performing the same as it would if the header wasn't smashed. I'm not dogging on your car, it is badass and it run's good. Good luck with it.

I just dont know why all the mods dont step up and say you are broke everyone here except mods say you was broke, you had to back up the time you didnt, leting out in the 1/8 isnt backing it up, I dont even have a car close to it, but i can clearly see you was broke. like black90lx said it isnt a 1/8 mile list.

A little hard to do when someone is wanting the blower and the car is getting a new setup for next year. It should be a very exciting year for everone next year. I know of a couple of cars coming out that will be EXTREMELY fast.
