Funny you should mention that though, last night one of my cats jumped on this pile of papers downstairs (scattering them) and I saw a list that Vinny had made, of the DD from 2006. I'm not sure how accurate it was, it is in his handwriting. I'll grab that tonight and email you what he wrote.

The car is still together and ready to roll out.... I kept it together and did NOT sell parts off of it just in case.

Hope this helps. I could even strap it to a dyno and give you some #'s if you don't believe me... but you can pay for it if you doubt me that much. My word is all I have... and I live by it. Heck when a fellow competitor broke at the track... I was trying to find him parts to get his car going again. I went over and introduced myself... told him his car was very impressive and nice..... did he do the same..... I THINK NOT!
well if you smashed the header then made the 8.80 pass it needs to be dropped. from my under standing you made that pass before the header got fugged up.

That is just an example, Im not pointing fingers at anyone...GOD I HATE being Fucking Politically correct.
When has that happened? Not saying that person should be on the list either, but the criteria for being a "member" of this site and being able to make the DD is pretty subjective. Same with the break rule. The rules are too opinionated. That's where some of the "problems" are coming from.

You don't have to be politically correct on my behalf, I don't believe in that shit anyway and could give a fuck. Say what you feel and mean it. Like I said, I understand the reasoning of some of it, I just don't agree on the definition. It's just my opinion. Everyone else seemed to be throwing their .02 in and so did I.

it is somewhat subjective i guess.

it's hard to have an exact rule

to say you have to have 20 non something posts or whatever, the end of the year, someone jumps on, trying to throw a number in the dozen, just like flyinjz did and it gets questioned,

ya know what, if you wanna be on the dozen, dont even put yourself in a position to be questioned, get on the boards, drive the car to events, it's really not that hard

every one acts like it's a magic formula and it's not, it's pretty frickin simple,

hell, i don't even have a stang right now, it was still at the fall cruise, wed night hang outs, ect..

I've got a question about the Dirty dozen.

Ok, what are the stipulations to make the list?
Cause i live in Lima and was going to try and make it down once in a while to trackday and meet with some people.

I had read that the car had to be driven to the track. Since I'd be coming from 2 hours north.. would I be allowed to unload at the track or would i have to park the trailer and drive it in?

If me not being able to make the dozen or compete for a spot on the dozen, Would the powers that control, make a separate list for others that cant make it on the list due to not being able to meet some of the rules.

Wasen't real sure where to put this, so mod or admin's can move it if it fits in a different area better.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

It's not up to me, but in my opinion.....

If you trailer it down here, have valid tags and insurance and can take a member out on the street, for a short cruise, I see no reason to exclude you. The more times you can do this, the better. Maybe make the spring cruise-in. A little more activity, on the board, wouldn't hurt either.

Hmmm...I dont see why you couldnt trailer it a spot, have some fellow SBZ members meet up with you (them in there Stangs also)and you guys all cruise to TS or E2O for some testing and tuning. That is what is in the planing for the Running of the Dozen. A location for ALL members to meet at (yes you can trailer your car to the meeting spot) then at a set time, everyone fire them up and cruise to the track. Hopefully we can get a few dates and hit E2O, TS and KK. I think people that have never been to KilKare should at least go once and vice versa, those who have never been to Edgewater or Tri-State hit those tracks as well. It would get more of us Stangbangerz out behind the computer and out to the track.

Andrew, you post on SBZ, you have a thread detailing your project, you dont only get on here to peddle parts and make posts just to make the list. You are a true member of Stangbangerz....and if you trailer the Stang down from Lima to come hang out with the rest of us, you DEFINATELY deserve to be on the list.

    And what Jeff said also.
