We put a battery in it last night and tested a few systems.

    Things that worked:

Fuel pump, inter-cooler pump, radio, gauges, running lights, FAST air fuel unit, starter relay clicked (don't have the cable to the starter yet).

    Things that need figured out:

Brake lights-brake pedal switch on the '03 pedals is normally close (reverse of the 5.0) probably gonna use a relay to turn on the brake lights.

Alternator-schematic looks easy so no biggie.

electric fan circuit is complicated since the computer controls it, but I gotta plan.

We are waiting on relays to finish the wiring...and a bonus check for the gas tank, bell housing, and a few odds and ends. then it will be down at the shop for a tune...I wanna be driving it by April!!!!

Been awhile since an update here so..........................

do it yourself "low profile" steering shaft kit from Flaming River went in...

.....................actually I gave up, started drinking and Maggy got it in!

There is about 3/8" between the upper universal and the head after moving the motor over.

Rob had to re-route the rear primary for steering shaft clearance...nothing like cutting up a new $400 set of headers

Got the aluminum flywheel and the SPEC 3+ in

There is a bell housing on its way from North Carolina...once that gets here, this can go in!!!!

This car is only turning out so nice because of the people who are helping...Plus I have severe OCD when it comes to form/fit/function.

This project is one of my favorites. Not something you see everyday. I seen one on youtube and the sound of it was awesome!
