The car ended up making 640.9awhp on Buschur's Mustang Dyno on 31 lbs (street boost) and on 38(moderate boost) it made 670awhp. we'll be at Dragway 42 tomorrow to make some passes in it. another video will be following up soon

the reason for only 38 lbs is the fuel pressure started to fall during the run so it was aborted and boost turned down some, we'll be going and modifying both of the pumps so they'll make and hold more fuel pressure and solving the pressure issue. at the same time, it'll be turned up to ~43 lbs or so. Dave buschur is going to meet us at the track and do alittle bit of tune touch up's and stuff like that.

that car's badass. It's ironic that it 60' what it does. I've noticed that AWD is not as much of an advantage when cubic dollars get thrown at the cars. (street or track) Case in point: Outlaw DR guys going 1.2x on DRs vs. this guy going, what did it say... .30s or .40s with AWD on four slicks? And then there were those 502 Talons that kick butt in Louisville, but got stomped at Cash Days. Ms. Misery is a pretty serious AWD effort, with good results. But you know what I mean.

What kind of dollar amount has been invested in this car?
The reason I ask is, I'm just curious and I don't have a clue what it costs to make these cars be reliable, and produce the numbers it is making.

i don't have a dollar figure because frankly i just don't care. its not my car or my money so therefore i don't care how much is in it. the biggest thing is reliability, these cars weren't designed to make 600+ whp and live forever. it goes through trans' and t-cases regularly. had an issue with breaking diff's for a while, but solved that one

we were just at 42 yesterday, and with a few issues it went 10.22 at 151. Got some more in it, just gotta get a clean pass and it should click off a 9.60 to 9.50. Dave Buschur thinks it'll go a little faster, but for me I'll leave it low and see if he can make the pass to go faster than what I'm predicting.
it typically 60's in the 1.44-1.55's, but with how the track was, it wouldnt go into the 40's just mid to upper 50's

Yea, it sucks trying to get AWD cars to 60ft. Best 60ft in my car is 1.44 I think on a set of 17" MT motorcycle slicks.

Biggest advantage is with a RWD car, just get the damn thing to transfer all the weight to the back wheels and make it hook. With AWD, you do that and the front tires go up into a ball of smoke and it doesn't 60ft for shit. You have to make the entire car squat for it to 60ft decently. Doesn't help there aren't any purposely designed full slicks for 17" wheels that fit the Evo.

1.6x is good for street tires.
1.5x is good for drag radials.
    1.4x is good for slicks.
    1.3x - you're a 60 footing God in the AWD world.
1.2x - there's a few out there, but typically those cars are 4-linked in the rear end.

About a month ago, this car went 9.40 at 159.52 while lift shifting and 4th gear being messed up

New trans coming soon, along with better cams and a few other minor things like a roll cage and chute'
going for high 8's next year

Holy crap! They have really done a lot of work on the old place!
I haven't been up ther since the early 90's, and all they had then was the tower, wooden bleachers, 1 building for food and shitter and gravel pits! Looks like Guthrie's kids made a commitment and invested in the place!
Live like 10 mins from that track good place to go if you wanna DIE. Its not bad for the money but the track is pretty shady bout hit the wall on my R1 when I lost traction 1/2 track at about 100mph
