So with that, I'll start the first round.
"His car isn't really a street car" is something I hear a lot. Problem is, everybody's opinion on what a true street car is will be different. As the rules sit right now, a street car is defined as having license, tags and insurance. I made it this way only to parallel the NMRA Wild Street definition. This is probably the toughest one to call so making these cars come out on the street to stay on the list will make things more fair in my opinion. This can be accomplished by requiring the cars to drive to the track at least once and/or showing up at our big cruise-ins.


I drove mine in the streetcar race but I was planning to take my wifes convertable we just got finished to the cruise.That wouldnt be a problem would it?

I would say if you made the cruise on the street car shootout and craig can verify, then you would be fine to bring the other car

Cool I drove it there and made 9th place but it had 3 fouled plugs.Since then my Cincy tune is what netted my 10.25!!!!!

I drive mine all over the place, i just drove it to Frt Wayne Indiana a few weeks ago and still run 10.3s
I could insure and tag a dragster and run people with it saying its a street car....LOL
But on the other had i can say i would rather trailer my car to a far away track just encase i was to break i could trailer it back.

I agree with Noshot though, NMRA rule should apply i guess...LOL

There were a few cars that showed up to the Shoot-out with NON-DOTs and they actually drove them on the street. Were they legal? I dunno, Im not a cop and do not enforce Ohio laws.

Nitrous is also not street legal, and removing cats, and changing the suspension voids the crash safety laws, ect ect. Guess we need to have a all stock car to qualify.... LOL

Mine time was na and it is street legal with the jerico. It has went faster at a 10.69 @ 128.48 mph last saturday and it should go a little bit faster.
To me street legal is how much the owner wants to put up with it on the street like exhaust,cage,no ac, etc.

I will add to brandon's post no radio, ps or running a 3 speed trans with 4.30 gears in the highway for 60 plus miles each way.

If I put up with that and its tagged and insured, its a F-N street car. Lol

I know steves lx. rixx93gt, atbracn, and me are na cars. There might be more but dont know. If someone lets me borrow (good) 26in et streets i will make a couple of passes. My et wont change much. Why isnt your car on the list? I know it went fast enough to. Post your times!!!
