I love when the middletuckians come in under their secret names to run their mouths. POST IS DIRECTED TO bbford notice the quote.........

Sorry that i've taken my brand new car and beat the shit out of it since the day after buying it. Bought it Saturday, hit the track with 100 miles on it Sunday and have been beating the shit out of it since.

Sorry I drove it to North Carolina 11 hours, raced it, drove it home.

Sorry I drove it 4 hours to Bowling Green, won the race, and drove it home 4 hours and people recognize that and want their name on my car.

Anyone on here that says they wouldn't take $1000, or $2000, or $3000 or whatever $ or a part, to throw a sticker on their car for the year is just flat out lying.

Come the end of the year, the stickers will come off, and the car will still be as fast. Sorry your tired ass middletucky crap isn't recognized by anyone other than the cops. Probably why you have to change cars so often.

You think it's easy to get near 4000 lbs down the track, factory transmission, on drag radials, in damn near 9 second e.t. marks, all while being able to drive it 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 hours, you have another thought coming.

I'll tell ya what, i'll use Tim's car as an example since you did. You put enought ballast in his car to bring it to 3900lbs, trailer it down to Amelia walmart, we'll drive the 63 miles to kil care on some drag radials, NO changes. No pills, no pulley changes, no fuel, no air, nothing. We'll do a best 2 outta 3 and then make the 63 mile drive back.

Or, if we really want to do a real battle of the street cars, we can do the same thing this weekend and drive them to Chicago and race them at the nmra event. Should only be a 4 or 5 hour drive. I know i'm up for it. Fuel would be allowed of course since it's a long drive.

Thats not a shot at Tim's car, it was just the car that bbford used in the example for the others reading.

I drove my car to work 5 days this past week, one of them in the rain, drove to the track Saturday and yesterday over an hour with no changes to the car other than air (oh wait, 45lb seat removed saturday), and to a cruise in an hour away on Sunday.

The car was out every day but Wednesday this week. I don't know many people that drive "race cars" 500 miles / 6 days a week or 4 or 11 hours to a race. My car is not only "not" a race car, it is a true daily driver.

This race was Craigs race. The race was ran by Craigs rules, and the outcome was what it was. There is no disputing that and there never was.

How bout this though, bbford. We do another shootout under my rules, since my car is so unimpressive.

    Heres my rules.

    Licensed, Insured.
3900lb minimum weight, drag radials, factory transmission (the trans that came in the car, not an aftermarket one, manuals allowed upgraded clutch, auto's allowed a converter). Ahh fuk it, you can have your aftermarket transmissions.

60 Mile cruise to the track. Only change allowed is air pressure. Best 2 outta 3 and then we'll make the 60 mile drive back. When can I expect your car to be ready for the race?

Anyone else welcome of course as well.
