Sounds about right. Atleast it does in insaneba land. As for the 1-5 mph difference. That goes both ways sweetheart. Why dont you "professional drivers" half of whom cant even speak fluent english slow down that 1mph and "enjoy the scenery"? It isint truckers world out here afterall. I'm not gonna have a panty pissin match with you, this is a rant section and I vented my issues. Your doing the same, and thats your right. Same as what we choose to do on the road. So you continue in that truck of yours, and do what you gotta do. Us pissant 4 wheeler's will do the same. It's a never ending saga, and always will be that way. Oh, and just so you know, I do signal and try to be courteous to truckers whenever I can. Maybe thats why it pisses me off when I get wronged by one, or see someone else get it. I am however thankful of those 800 numbers and truck/trailer numbers posted on all the trucks nowadays, and even more thankful I have a really good relationship with several DOT officers in my area. I just jot down that number, and hand it over, and problem solved...

JK, just chalk it up to another person who feels they are too important, to have to ride behind a truck. It always amazes me the lengths that some go to, to get around trucks.

Brandon, drivers are trying to do the best they can, to not hold others up. I don't think they take great joy at slowing the flow of traffic. You are correct, in saying that the truck being passed, should just slow down to make the pass quicker. But, as with dummy 4-wheelers, there are idiot truckers. The truck I drive, will do 85. I still need a break in traffic and (if loaded heavy) a little time to pick-up speed. Once I do, I make the pass, merge back right and slow to the speed I want to run.

We all SHARE the road.....no one owns it (except for the 65 feet I occupy, LOL)!

So if you get stuck behind a blue cherokee with a dented up rear bumper sputtering and spitting trying to make it through the clusterfuck that is the highway have some curtosey and dont ride my ass.

I agree guys, it's a shared road. I was just ranting on my issues, not attacking 1 specific person. It is a rant section, not a personal attack section. Thats why there is no pm being posted. Eventhough I got a lil hot under the collar yesterday, it isint right to JKtruckin or anyone else if I go public with my irrational comments. Appologies to all, I should have been the bigger man and dropped it instead of acting like an immature child and arguing or agging it on. I wont be visiting the rant section anymore. Oh and stolly, sorry those powers only get you in the good graces of the local OHP, DOT and some really good deals on Sterling and Western Star trucks or parts!
