So I spent another 2-hours last night checking all the switch activation leads that will run to the relays and grounds, all 12V leads are providing a good 12V source, so now onto terminating them to the relays.

I am getting closer Brian, I'm extremely eager with anticipation. Still a bunch of little things to take care of though, it shouldn't really be to long from now.

Made some more progress today, no pictures but I did accomplish to get the fittings needed for the oil pressure gauge from the block and the 90* elbow I needed for the fuel pressure gauge off of the regulator all hooked up. Have the wiring from the starter solenoid to the starter finished as well. I'm going to put oil in the engine and pull the spark plugs to turn it over by the starter switch, it should go well and show me some oil pressure prior to starting it. If all goes well, I should almost be in the position to start the car this weekend, I say almost because I do not have any fuel or the exact plugs needed but that is a minor detail. Lol
Anyone have some race fuel they would be willing to give me to fire this up, I need about 10 gallons?

Can you start it on 93? I did the 427 ysi car.
Not sure about that Brian, it is a 13.25:1 compression ratio engine, I would prefer race fuel.
I just came back in from being in the garage and still feel pretty confident that the car itself would be capable of being started this weekend but doesn't mean that it will.

Yeah probably better safe than sorry.
Awesome job Shayne.
Thanks Tommy, I sure have been motivated lately to get this thing running. I think it's because my wife doesn't think it's going to get done so I have to insure that she isn't correct, darn woman. Lol

When it comes to wiring labels make everyone's life easier. Invest in or barrow a good label maker.

Until it's running I wouldn't put it past shayne to change his mind and swap engines....

Well, up till 2:00am again working on this car. Everything has been terminated in the wiring for the switch panel now and everything still works as it should also, wow.
Later today I will focus on finishing everything up that I can with the fuel lines and then on to something else.

What are you doing about paint? Seems like alot of work to take it back apart to paint it.
2014 CTS V-sport
2006-teen Black CCSB Powerstroke
I understand what you are saying but I have to look at this way, do I want to be cutting, drilling and possibly damaging a $5k paint job to make everything fit? No
I would rather figure everything out now and then pull it apart to paint it, then bolt everything back together, less chance of damaging the paint job afterwards.
It will be a lot of work but it will be worth it, doesn't mean that I may not still hurt something but it should be minor at that time.

Just finished plumbing the fuel system other than a couple mounting pieces, that means it's one step closer to being finished.
