Not a whole lot really. Wiring in the ECU and all the other stuff that goes with that, plumbing the fuel system, and re-running the brake lines again are the biggest jobs that I need to get done. I will be pulling the engine one last time as well to fix an oil pan issue. I have smaller stuff to do of course but none of that keeps me from starting it up so I'm hoping to have it ready to start by March/April and driveable by May. I hate even putting any kind of timeline out there as something always seems to come up but that's my hope.

Well, this is where I'm at tonight. FINALLY got all my wife's stuff off of, and from around the car so I can actually work on it again. This thing was buried!Anyway, I'm starting on putting the fuel system in, I will be fabbing my own dual in-tank fuel pump hanger for the 450 and 525 Walbro pumps in my stock tank (it is sumped but won't be using the sump for now), I'll be taking photos and showing how I'm doing this as I go so someone can duplicate it if they wanted. This setup should be good for 800hp or so at the wheels with 160lb injectors on E. After the fuel system is finished I'll be moving on to getting the Dominator and everything else wired, once that's done I'm going to finish the brakes, finish any plumbing under the hood, install the shifter and it should be ready to fire at that point. Fingers crossed

What's the combo?
A4 blocked 347, Victor Jr. heads ported by TEA, F cam, Super Vic intake, Bosch 160s, a pair of old school 67mm Precision turbos (will be changing those out for VS Racing's version of the S366), Holley Dominator ECU, Neal Chance TH400 with his converter too. My plan is to start out on pump gas and meth and then switch over to E85 once I have the tune sorted fairly well. I have a flex fuel sensor that will allow the Holley to change the tune whether I'm running pump gas, E50, E85, etc.

Being a guy who was in his 20's in the late 80's, I always (and still do) favored the hatchback to the notch. And that Forest green (for no better term) was my favorite color. Back then if you owned a notch LX 5.0 over a hatchback LX 5.0 or GT it was because the dealer offered you a deal too good to pass up and there were no hatchbacks left. Look forward to seeing the finished product this season.![]()
I'm from the same era so I've always favored the GT/Hatch as well. Green isn't my favorite color but I've somehow ended up with about 5 different green cars through the years, including my current daily. That being said, I really like this green, it looked good with the silver lower from the factory but I wanted something a little different so I changed it to a Lightning dark grey, it turned out better than I had thought it would IMO. Hoping to have it out fairly soon.![]()

I love the dark grey over the silver! Subtle difference but it looks so much better like that I think.
