Ive been on the fence for the last year or so about building a turbo car. After looking into the red 92 Coupe I have, I decided I didn't want to cut that car up to be a race car. So after thinking long and hard, I just decided to build another car.
This car belonged to a friend back in the mid 90's and I was around 19 or so when he pulled into the driveway with it. It was one of the cleanest cars I had ever saw. I think back around 97 when he got it, it had around 30K miles on it. Reef blue LX hatch. Had a stock 5.0 bottom end with Edelbrock heads and performer intake, 5 speed and a built rear end.
I saw this car during Craig's Cincy Speed street car shoot out back around 2011 I think. It had to be the same car.
Anyways, I went down Sunday night and picked it up. Now it has a older Ford Racing C-347 crate motor with Z304 heads, 3550, and a Nitrous Express plate kit. Not as clean as it once was but still a nice car.

and figured he could go with the US Shift controller (I probably should have mentioned that lol) for the 6R80 which would get him a ton of control and still give him the ability to roll at about 80 on the highway and still knock down like 25mpg. Mostly because of the deep pockets tho. lol
