Kenny, those parts look awesome... What gun do you use if you don't mind me asking. I do some coating of my own but only for stuff around the house, small stuff, and I use a cheap gun from Eastwood at 10kv. Was thinking to upgrade and curiuos what you use. Thanks. Here is a "little" turbo I just did. I used more of the bonded black chrome on the cold side and used a clear for more protection seeing as it may be in and out of the car and handled alot. It did dull it just a bit but still turned out nice. The hotside got some turbo black ceramic.

Were you wanting to do the fins on the upper a different color or leave them bare? What style or brand of valve covers are they and was there lettering on those or just the upper. Were you wanting the same green or a different color? With that info I vs get you a price. Thanks

Im thinking just make the upper a polished silver look just powdercoat it to protect it, same with the valve covers. The valve covers are factory ones, they are finned but dont need any special work to them, they just say corvette acrossed them.

Now i do have a 2nd set of valve covers and a metal shifter plate i made thats about 5x8 and how much would it be seperate to powdercoat those that same dark green?

Odd question, think you could powdercoat a helmet? Its a motorcycle helmet thats currently dark red, id like it to be dark green.

Well then I have accomplished what I set out to do, I guess its time to close up shop:lol:

Eric is the pics of the mirror orange, they are the same panel but taken with and without flash trying to give you the best idea what it looks like. It looks more like the top one in person even though both pics make it look more reddish than it really does. I think it will work well for you.

Speaking of wheels Kenny...

I have my 14" aluminum slots that I will be sending to Brandon after he gets back from Haiti, and I will need a clear shot over them after he polishes them... Would you recommend that?

They are two stock front bullits then 2 17x10.5 bullits in the back deepdish. Basically wanted maybe like a dark gunmetal gray or a black with a chrome lip.

Been busy the last couple days. The nitrous bottle is purely for show and will not have nitrous in it again. I WILL NOT coat a bottle that is to be used again as the cure cycle can weaken the bottle and cause it to fail. The 4v covers are also listed in the for sale section if anyone is interested.

mustangboy

Todays color is black chrome 2. The valve covers were chrome and the dragster scoop base was just polished aluminum. BTW this color only looks good over chrome or polished aluminum. Also the pics are crappy cause it is nasty out today. In the sun it looks way better. One last note on this color. These were used valve covers so you can see the scratches and flaws they have thru the powder, thats why it is best done on new parts or very clean used ones.

Here is a few more things to look at. Some candy red v/c's for a fellow banger. Since it is so gloomy out I took one with and one w/out a flash. Also some more ceramic on a turbo setup.

I finally got someone to do a matte black. Everyone wants gloss, satin or one of the wrinkles and this is the first time I've done matte. I think it looks damn sweet. The owner is going for a stealth stock look on his bb chevy jet boat.

Alan I could clear the carbide but I'm a little afraid it will look like you rhino lined your wheels. If you are going for a sinister look check out the pic of the tuscan matte black I just posted on the v/c's and intake. That color would look really good on those wheels.

Here are a couple more. The bike is a KTM Duke which is going to look really really good when done. The color is bonded black chrome with sd clear and carbide black. I don't have a pic of the swinger and a few ohter parts done in carbide black so I'll let the owner put a pic up when he can. The 4v covers are for sale if anyone is interested and they are in S&S wrinkle black.

I've been enjoying a slow period lately but finally had some work I had to get done. Here is another KTM frame in mirror orange and an old beat up mini bike frame in mirror red, silver sparkle on the handle bars and wheels/chain gaurd in ult chrome/acrylic clear. Had an easy day. Another procharger bracket set for on of those LS boys in silver vein and tuscan flat black. I also did a couple more pieces for my own engine in the tuscan flat black.
